Dr. Sulmaan Farooqui
Dr. Farooqui grew up in San Antonio, Texas, where he received his Bachelors of Science in Biology degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. He then attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, from which he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009.
Dr. Farooqui's professional passion is deeply rooted in dental surgery and implant-related procedures. His expertise encompasses a wide range of complex treatments, including full mouth extractions, pre-prosthetic surgeries, third molar extractions, dental implant placement, All-On-4 surgeries, sinus lifts, ridge splits, and various bone grafts. His expertise in these areas is not just about technical mastery but also about providing patients with life-changing results.
To stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in dentistry, Dr. Farooqui consistently participates in continuing education. He earned a certificate from the Institution of Dental Advancement, focusing on advanced techniques like vertical sinus lifts and ridge splits with implant placement. He also completed various courses in implants, periodontics, and oral surgery at notable institutions such as Loma Linda University, the Perio Institute, AIC, and the Q-Implant Program.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
